Stovman, John Andrew
77, Parksville, BC formerly of Halifax, NS?passed away suddenly on August 8th, 2007.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta he was the son of the late Mary and John Stovman and was predeceased by his beloved wife “Milly“ (Mildred Stovman nee Smith). The second eldest of 10 children, John is survived by sisters, many nieces and nephews in Vancouver and nieces in Halifax.
Johnny was a kind and gentle man with a quiet sense of humour. His family and friends are very proud of his achievements including the work he did with the Canada Space program.
The family extends special appreciation to Christine Jiggins of Parksville who has been a dear friend to Uncle Johnny during his time in BC.
Services was held at St. Anne-St. Edmonds Anglican Church in Parksville. Service of Internment will be?held in Halifax where Johnny’s ashes?will rest with his loving wife Milly.
