TOUGH, John Ernest Hudson
of Parksville passed away November 10, 2006 aged 84.
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce Ernie’s passing. Ernie grew up in Alberta, served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II and later worked for Northwestern Utilities in Edmonton for 35 years. He retired to Parksville in 1982. Ernie will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Peggy, son Wayne Tough (Colette) of Edmonton, daughters Dianne Bagan (David) of Surrey, BC, Debbi Moyen (Norman) of Metchosin, BC, Gwen Howes (Stewart) of North Vancouver, BC, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Steve and Dave (Irene) and sister Yvonne Phillips of Edmonton. Ernie was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret, his first wife, Merna, brothers Gordon, Alex, Duncan and sisters, Myrtle and Audrey.
A Celebration of Ernie’s life will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 146 Hirst Avenue, Parksville, BC.
