1921-2011 ~ 89 yrs.
John reached his Trail’s End on Saturday Feb. 5th, 2011. He will be greatly missed by his friends and his surviving relatives: Wife: Shirley, Five Daughters: Vicki Dugas (Terry), Carol Dines( Rick), Cheryl Galloway (Carl Lyons), Dona Naylor (Mike),Terry Galloway. 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
All whom are celebrating that he is now pain-free. As described by his family and friends at his recent quiet memorial John was: adventurous, handsome, strong, resourceful, unique, authentic, charismatic, intelligent, sharp, skilled, brave, a great crib player, quick-minded, wise, thrifty, funny, straightforward, genuine, a great conversationalist, a teaser, witty, a recycler extraordinaire, a foundry man, a risk-taker, an entrepreneur, a nature-lover, spiritual, inspiring, supportive, a truth-teller, magical, remarkable, thoughtful, and generous.
Those fortunate enough to know John knew he was an extraordinary man. Happy trails John!
