Parker, John Henry
Of Parksville, BC, passed away peacefully on ?Monday, September 10, 2007 at the age of 93.
He was predeceased by beloved wife Laverne, son Bobby, brothers Robert and Dennis, sisters Grace, Ella and Ruth.
A veteran of World War II, he is survived by sisters Lenore Holt and Dorothy (Merle) Radatzke as well as many nieces and nephews. He touched the hearts of those who knew him and will be sadly missed by all, including his shuffleboard buddies at the Senior’s Drop-In Centre.
Special thanks to all of his home support workers and the staff of Nanaimo Hospital.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, ?September 19, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the ?Parksville Cemetery, 1000 Allsbrook Road Parksville, B.C?
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian ?Cancer Society or a charity of choice, in John’s honour.
