John’s love of life, positive attitude and outlook made living for 15 years with lymphoma a shining example to us all. John spent many
years in the sheet metal trade in Victoria, then moved to Sidney and enjoyed his time with Canada Post. After a nomadic 5 year trek with
Lillian, they retired to Parksville. John’s love of country music, ready guitar, amp, harmonicas and sweet, sweet voice made any gathering
a memorable party.
By John’s wishes a private cremation and family remembrance of a life thoroughly and joyously lived.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations if desired to Swan Lake Nature Center or Canadian Cancer Society.
Dad, your integrity had no bounds.
