Clark, John (Jack)

1938-2008

On April 24, after a long fight with cancer, Jack passed away peacefully at Eagle Park, his wife Doreen at his bedside.

Jack was born in Liverpool, England. He left school at fifteen to go into an apprenticeship to become a French Polisher. He married his first wife Pat, with whom he had four children; Gary, twins Angela and Paula, and Neil. Pat passed away in 1995.

Jack immigrated to Canada in 1998 when he met and married Doreen. People who met and knew Jack will remember his knowledge and love for furniture. He was a real master of his trade, and a great raconteur. Jack will be missed by his children and their partners; Denise, Razy and John, grandchildren; Stacy, Jonathan, Kayleigh, Gary & Christopher, his uncle John, also by Doreen's family Cathy (Dean), Stephen (Pirkko), and grandchildren Amanda, Caitlin, and Cody and many friends both here and in Liverpool.

Jack's wish was no service, but an open house in his memory will be held at 164 Crescent Road E., Qualicum Beach on May 9 between 3:00 - 5:00 PM

If desired, a donation to Oceanside Hospice Society in Jack's memory, would be appreciated.

A special heartfelt thanks to the home help who came to make his life more comfortable and the nursing staff at Eagle Park.
