JOHN WALTER PARRY
September 1936 – January 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Walter Parry on January 24th with his wife, Jacqueline, by his side. She was joined by their daughter Christine and granddaughter Laura upon their arrival from England.
He will be sorely missed by his faithful four legged friend, Wally.
He leaves behind a wonderful family in England – his sister Jean, his brother-in law Russ, and their children Judy, Tim and their families plus his extended family on the Island.
John was a very talented and creative man, generous and humble. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at his home on Craig Drive in Nanoose Bay on January 30th, 2016 from 1-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parksville SPCA.
A great many thanks to the Ambulance Service, Pallitive Care Unit and to all the Doctors and Nurses at the NRH for the wonderful care they provided.
