Died in Nanaimo on March 4, 2009 at the age of 69.
Jo was born on September 7, 1939 in London, England. She married David Alan Lee on November 29, 1958 and emigrated to Canada in 1968. Jo worked for many years as a swim instructor for Scarborough Parks and Recreation.
She was an avid gardener and quilter and enjoyed the hunt for a bargain antique. She had a great sense of humour and will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Her pride and joy were her family and in particular her grandchildren.
Jo/Nana Jo was much loved and is survived by her husband, Alan, 3 children, Andrea (Craig), Richard (Sue), and Rebecca (Roman), and six grandchildren, Holly, Keegan, Kirsten, Robyn, Alexandra, and Natalie.
