November 18, 1931 – March 18, 2009
It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved mother and grandmother after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in England, she emigrated to Canada (Thunder Bay, ON) in 1968. Joyce then moved with her son Scott to North Vancouver, BC in 1983 before moving to Parksville, BC in 2006 to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her son Scott (Joy), grandsons, Chris and Shaun, brother Tony, sisters, Joan and Maureen of England, brother-in-law Emmett, nephew Steve (Lan) of California, cousin Marie (Peter) and many other family and friends
Special thanks to loving friend Heather, dedicated care-aides, Lene, Cheryl, Gary and all the other staff at Trillium Lodge.
There will be no service by request.
