Passed away peacefully

December 24, 2008, at the age of 86. Tiny grew up in a float house in small communities, primarily Alert Bay and Beaver Cove. She later moved to Port Alberni, where she lived with her parents, brother and sister. At the age of 25 she met her husband Dick Goyette, and

later settled in Kelowna, B.C., where they raised two boys, Rick and Nick. Tiny, Dick and their youngest son, Nick,

relocated to Abbotsford, B.C., in 1975, where she remained

until her death. She was

predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Dick Goyette in 1998, her brother Sam (Sonny), and sister Dorothy (Babs). She is survived by her sons, Rick (Candice) of Kelowna, B.C., and Nick of Abbotsford B.C. Tiny also leaves behind 3 loving grandchildren, Alexis, Jason, and Brayden, and one special great-granddaughter, Mikayla Madelaine Rose. She also leaves behind many friends and extended family members. Special thanks are extended to the caring staff at Menno Home. You cared for our mother and grandmother with love and compassion, and for that we are truly grateful. Donations may be made in memory of Tiny to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, or to a charity of your choice.
