KARL THOMAS KARLEEN
February 28, 1942 – October 5, 2014
Karl was born in Vancouver and passed away suddenly but peacefully in Parksville. He was predeceased by his father Karl and mother Alice.
Karl was a long time resident of Parksville where he was very involved in Special Olympics, bowling and Monday bingo at the seniors drop in centre, as well as other community organizations and events.
A gentle and kind man, Karl was very well known and liked in the community and was a special friend to all those he knew and met.
Karl is survived by brothers Terry (Linda), Ken (Kathy); nephew Kevin; nieces Kimberly, Karen, Kristie, Kendra & Kourtney.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Catherine and all the staff at Halliday House, who treated Karl with loving care in the years he resided with them.
He will be missed.
A celebration of Karl’s life will take
place at a later date.
