Oct. 7, 1953 - Dec. 3, 2010

As you may already know, Ken Clint had been struggling valiantly to avoid the final fate, which, on December 3, 2010, relieved him of his battle. Ken died at home in the company of his two most loved brothers, Brian and Bruce, who faithfully shared Ken’s painful struggle with him, each day of the last two and a half years. He had tried about every possible protocol he thought might help him to carry on this Love for Life, which he helped to infect so many of us with. His basic Love of Living, and Joyful laughter were truly infectious and always easily, readily shared. His kind, thoughtful, generous nature led him to help others, in various ways, to enjoy their own lives a little bit, or sometimes a lot, more. He had a great Love and concern for his fellow beings, and these past years, he passed many an hour, almost every single day, in front of his beloved computer, seeking and sharing information with his many, many, cherished friends and Loved ones. He always thoroughly enjoyed playing music for others, for many hours, helping them to enjoy themselves and loosen up with a few beers, while he would slake his thirst with continuous cups of coffee. He was quick with a joke, and loved to humor others, even often, at his own expense.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be held on January 22, 2011 at Coombs Rodeo Grounds starting at 2 pm. Bring your musical instruments, your joyful voices and a dish for the potluck.

We will all miss you Ken! May you rest in peace! Good-bye from your siblings Cheryl Irving, Gord Clint, Bill Clint, Brian Clint, Bruce Clint. Thanks for all the tunes, Kenny! Lots of Love, forever!
