With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father, father in law, grandfather & great grandfather.
Dad was born in Fort William, Ont. Dad served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII, aboard a Corvette class ship in the North Atlantic. Ken applied his trade as a master electrician until his retirement in 1983.
In 1986, he and his wife Margaret moved to Qualicum Beach where they made many friends, especially on the golf course. Dad continued to play golf up until a few months ago.
Dad is lovingly remembered by his children John (Sandi), Mark (Val). Grandchildren: Shane (Tanya), Justin, Tom (Jessica), Chris, Katie (Joey). Great grandchildren: Atley, Gage, Theo, Beau, Brady, Arie, Logan, & Kara.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2002, his brother Grant and sister Thelma (Clifton).
In keeping with Dad’s wishes, no service will be held. Those wishing to honour Dad’s memory, a donation may be made to Canadian Kidney Foundation and/or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Dad will be forever remembered for his outgoing personality and his zest for life.
We will miss him tremendously€- he was a great friend too.
