Survived by his wife Elizabeth (Liz) Mogensen, children Linda, Beverly, Margaret, Peter, Diana and his stepchildren Alison, Sarah, Jon, his brother Norman and sister Doris.
He had 8 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Ken was a business owner in Calgary for 40+ years. In 1995, he retired with his beloved wife of 32 years, Liz, to Nanoose Bay, then Parksville. He had varied interests and was a member of many organizations including being a charter member of both The Oceanside Wood Carvers Club and The Nanoose Bay Walking Club.
Ken will always be remembered for his quick smile, his quiet kindness and the ever-present twinkle in his eyes. His large, loving family and many wonderful friends will miss him forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken's name to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
