YULE, Kenneth Landon, Q.C.

passed away in his sleep at the great age of 101 on February 1, 2006.

Predeceased by Alice, his devoted wife of 68 years, and by his sister Helen. Lovingly remembered by sons Kenneth and Donald, daughters-in-law Jennifer and Susan, and grandchildren David (Heather), Carolyn, Alison and Joanna. Born in Gananoque, Ontario on April 21, 1904, he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in arts and law. “KL” practiced insurance law with the firm now known as Guild Yule and Company LLP, starting as junior associate and becoming highly respected senior partner. In retirement at Qualicum Beach he continued to enjoy his family and his hobbies of gardening (especially growing roses), golf and fishing. The family would like to thank Estelle and the staff of Little Mountain Manor, Parksville, for their compassionate care in his last years.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 138 Hoylake Road West (at Memorial Ave.), Qualicum Beach on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will be held in Vancouver at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parksville-Qualicum Community Foundation, 102-663 Beach Road, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 2H7, would be appreciated.
