December 4, 1952 - November 28, 2022
In loving memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kim after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by her husband of almost 50 years, Terry Fulcher; her two loving daughters Marcie (Steve) and Katie; and her two granddaughters, Farrah and Paisley. She is survived by her sisters Suzanne, Diana, Joann; brother Kent; sister-in-law Doris, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Kim was born in 1952 in Prince Rupert and moved to Vancouver with her family as a child, and then to Parksville at the age of 15 where she moved in across the street from her future husband. She held numerous jobs but found her passion as a mother first and foremost and then as a Education Assistant, where she flourished and left an impression on many children in the community.
Kim provided a secure and happy home that created a special family bond. Kim enjoyed travelling and camping, with the highlight being driving across Canada. She was also passionate about card-making and put great effort into making each card unique.
We would like to sincerely thank the Nanaimo and Oceanside Palliative staff, as well as the staff and volunteers at Trillium Hospice for their incredible kindness in her last month.
A small family service will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Oceanside Hospice.
