On December 1st, 2020 Larry passed away peacefully with family by his side.
Larry was born in Penticton, BC on January 30, 1941. He was predeceased by his daughter, Diane, sister Claire and brother Kevin. Survived by his loving wife, Joan, of 56 years, son Michael, daughter Shannon (Robert) and grandchildren Austin, Ryan, Alicia, Sophie and Liam.
Larry was an avid sportsman and played hockey and football in his earlier years. Later on, he enjoyed fishing, swimming at the pool, gardening and applying his carpentry skills in his workshop at home. He will be well remembered by the grandkids for creating fun backyard activities for them - tree swings, mini-golf and an occasional ice-rink on the patio during cold spells to name a few.
Larry was a true Irishman at heart, whether it be his sense of humour, "gift of the gab" or the love of a good story or song. He had the ability to know how to live life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
