Born in Oshawa ON, John was a professional artist all his life. With his wife Helen, John opened the Agg Works Gallery in Qualicum Bay in 1976 after moving to Vancouver Island from Ontario. John’s works of watercolors, prints, enameling, large collages and decorated pottery were well known on the West Coast. John and Helen closed their gallery and retired in 2000.
Private cremation, with public reception at Bowser Legion on Sunday January 16, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m.
