LEO VINCENT QUEWEZANCE
September 1, 1941 – November 20, 2013
It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce Leo passed away Wednesday, November 20 peacefully in his sleep after a courageous seven year battle with cancer.
Left to mourn him is his loving spouse and best friend of 26.5 years Susan Holtz. He will sadly missed, by sisters Darlene VanSchaik of Parksville and Barbara Brzak of Parksville, his nephews John (Melanie) VanSchaik, Shawn (Karina) and family VanSchaik, 3 great nephews Jordan, Michael and Thomas VanSchaik and one great niece Jenna VanSchaik of Edmonton, AB. Also left to mourn Leo, are many friends and family.
Leo will be missed for his great sense of humour as well as his wonderful stories of his life and travels when he was younger. He will be missed for his generous nature and love of life.
The family would like to thank the staff at the NGRH as well as special thanks to Dr. Attwell and Cheryl and staff at the Victoria Cancer Centre.
