Len passed away on Tuesday, April 13 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gwenda; daughter Susan (Mike), sons Leonard (Bonny); Tom (April); Chris (Colleen) and Andrew (Carol) and nine grandchildren.

Len was born in Leicester, England - served in the British Eighth army during the second world war, and moved to Canada in 1952 with his wife and 2 young children to work as a gas fitter in Alberta. He and his family then moved to British Columbia.

He always worked hard, loved gardening, had a great sense of humour, and had a great appreciation for the outdoors and nature - attributes which were passed along to his children.

He was devoted to his family and was always there for us. He will always be remembered and loved.

Thank you to all the care providers from Home Support and a special thank you to Dr. Forrester who always treated our family with care, concern and respect.
