Leonard Hovind
May 25, 1932 – September 3, 2013
Leonard is survived by his loyal and loving wife of 58 years, Isabelle Lorraine Hovind; 4 children Nina (Darcy), Tracy (Don), Len (Patti), Warren (Sherry); 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Born in Estavan Saskatchewan, Leonard moved to the west coast in 1955 where he worked in the lumber industry until retirement. He was proud to be Canadian and to have served in the Korean War. Leonard was an avid gardener, loved the challenge of golf, and enjoyed regular walks on the boardwalk with Isabelle.
A small family gathering was held at Leonard’s gravesite on September 6, 2013 to say goodbye.
God saw you getting weary,
A cure was not to be,
He put His arms around you,
And whispered: Come to Me.
