On November 25th, 2005, we lost
Leslie Stirling of Nanoose Bay B.C.
He is survived by his loving wife Emily Lorraine, daughters; Virginia Louise (Dave) Chavin of Victoria, Margaret Elizabeth (Dave) Hannah of Keremeos, Barbara Anne Stirling of Mexico, and Patricia Rose Stirling (Steve) of Vancouver, granddaughters; Janelle (Martin) Hulme of New Westminster, and Becky Hannah of Mission, great granddaughter; Daisy Hulme of New Westminster, sisters; Joan Bavis of Comox and Irene Sainsbury of Sidney, brothers; Cyril Stirling of Duncan and Robert (Dorothy) Stirling of Victoria.
Leslie was born iin Deer Park BC on April 22, 1918. He lived and worked in Sidney, BC then moved to Nanaimo where he worked at Harmac Mill for 20 years. He also served in the Canadian Navy in the 1940s. His family would like to thank the staff at the Dwelling Place where Leslie lived for the past 3 years, for all their wonderful care. No service at the family’s request.
