With sadness, we announce the passing of Lorna Bingham on Friday, November 9th, 2018. Lorna was predeceased by her mother, Margret Stretton and her sister, Jacquie Cassity. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Alan Lawrence Bingham; sons, Jeff Bingham (Paul Eddy) of Vancouver, and Larry Bingham (Suzanne) of Burnaby; grandson, Robert Alan Bingham; nephew, Ron McFarlane; nieces, Kelly Butler and Deb Harstad.
Lorna was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and raised in Nelson and Anyox, British Columbia. She worked for Boeing in Vancouver during WWII, before training as a Registered Nurse at VGH, class of 1947. Lorna was a longtime resident of Burnaby and Qualicum Beach at Eaglecrest.
