passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday May 1st. Survived by his beloved wife Sandra, daughters Barbara (Jason) Davies and Pamela (John) Fitzhenry. Grandchildren Jessica, Kassandra, Christopher, Brittany, Garrett and Chance. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence & Alma Pal and brother Brian Pal.
Lorne was a true entrepreneur everything from Banking, Automotive Distributor, Swimming Pool & Hot Tub Sales, Service & Installation, McDonald’s Restaurant Franchisee and finally Home Builder.
He enjoyed the diversity of his business ventures & his participation in service organizations - Kinsmen, Lions & Rotary. Over the course of his life Lorne made many friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr.Biglow, Dr.Berkman, Dr.Spy as well as the dedicated and compassionate nurses: Carol, Angela, Sandra, Anabelle & Tamara in the Palliative Care Unit of Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
A Celebration of his life will be held Monday, May 16th at 2pm at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
