In loving memory of Louise Allix, of Parksville. May 29th 1931 - October 11th 2019, in her own home after a short period of failing health.
She is predeceased by husband Hereward Allix in 2009. She is survived by brother Ralph Walker, daughter Jane Speer (Roger), son Tim Allix (Carol), grandchildren Jennifer Losell (Lee) and Tristan Speer (Dara); also 5 great grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Claire, Marshall and Wyatt.
Louise was well known in the Oceanside community; she and her husband owned the Dairy Queen in Parksville for 20 years. She was a sailor, actor, musician, painter, and active community member since immigrating from England in 1957. British by birth, but a proud Canadian for most of her life. She will be terribly missed. A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date.
