Peacefully at home in Qualicum Beach, BC, Lucille passed away on October 14, 2010, aged 61 years.
Lucille is survived by Gary Wilson and son Wayne Grote (Nanaimo). She is also survived by her sisters; Louise MacDonald (Crofton), Lana Brown (Crofton), Lois Argue (Port Alberni), brothers; Melvin Bannick (Vancouver), Mervin Bannick (Mexico City) and her mother, Joan Bannick (Nanaimo).
Lucille was an avid runner and a dedicated member of The Cee Vacs Running Club. In the end, the running club was there for Lucille in her time of need. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Lyn Pascoe and nurse Monica Watt.
A private family service was held on October 21, 2010.
