1942-2020 ~ "Mac" died September 16, 2020 in Trillium Hospice after being ill with pancreatic cancer for a short time.
He will be remembered by many friends and "buddies" who have provided a caring and supportive community in his last weeks.
Mac's focus was on achievement and he achieved much. He was proud of being a Ph.D. Psychologist being a Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Calgary. He was proud of writing and having published two books on attachment theory.
He was proud of the model railroad layouts that he built and enjoyed with the help of his model railroad buddies. He was proud to have his articles on model railroading published in Model Railroad Magazines.
He enjoyed golf, going to the gym and swimming at Judge's Row the first chance he got in the season until the cold came.
Mac leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Riva; his son Jake (Yoko), daughter Naomi (Wade) and grandchildren Noah and Sasha.
We have been blessed to live in a community that provides wonderful end of life care and thank all the nurses and care providers for their support.
