Passed away at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on November 2, 2008 at the age of 83 years.
Margaret was born in Hong Kong, the daughter of Douglas and Margaret Scott, and grew up in Vancouver and Victoria. She lived for many years in southern Africa, and for the past 16 years enjoyed her retirement in Nanoose Bay.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; her beloved sons Dana and Duncan (Gail) Cooper, and granddaughters
Madison and Mackenzie Cooper. She is also survived by stepsons Gary (Lois) and Paul (Kathy) Durrant, and six step-grandchildren.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at St. Edmund’s Church in Parksville at 1.30 pm on Saturday, November 8.
