PETERSON, Margaret Isabel

Born May 9, 1921 in Uxbridge, Ontario, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2005 at Dufferin Place in Nanaimo, B.C. She will be lovingly remembered by her family Bryan (Teri) Peterson of Nanaimo, Craig (Cheryl)
Peterson of Port Alberni; Erin (Sid) Mawson of Duncan; Allen Kenesky of Nanaimo and Tara-Lynn (Herman) Peterson as well as grandchildren Roger, Daniel, James, Kyle, Tonya and Austyn. She was predeceased by her husband Vibert “Pete” Peterson in 1979. Margaret lived in Uxbridge until age 20 and moved to Toronto to work in a war plant as a glass polisher. This is where is met her future husband Vibert “Pete” Peterson. They were then married
September 7, 1946 in Calgary, Alberta at which time they moved to Parksville where she resided until 2002. After 2002 she resided in Dufferin Place in Nanaimo until her death.
A memorial Service will be held at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 795 W. Island Hwy., Parksville on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
