Margaret “Peigi” Spencer
Suddenly but peacefully from a massive stroke, Margaret “Peigi” Spencer passed away with her family by her side on November 26, 2013 in the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
A war time bride, Peigi was married to her loving
husband, Gordon, just shy of 69 years.
Peigi was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother to her son, John (Maureen) with Liam, Andy, and Kathy; and son, Phil (Tevis) with Ailish and Conall. She also leaves many relatives in Canada and England.
Residing in Liverpool, England, Peigi and Gordon, with a tremendous pioneering spirit, moved to Kelowna, BC in 1957 leaving behind many friends and family to
begin their new life.
Peigi was known for her warmth and gracefulness with a wonderful ability to always think of others. It was Peigi and Gordon’s lifelong interconnection with their church and each other that provided the theme for many years of happiness. She will be missed by all who knew her.
