HAYLOCK, Maria Elena
December 20, 1916 - November 28, 2003. Passed away peacefully in St. Joseph’s Hospital on November 28, 2003.
Maria Elena came to Canada from Ecuador in 1940, as the new bride of Herbert Rennie Haylock.
Maria Elena is survived by her five children and their progeny: from California and Colorado; daughter Maria Elena Anderson, her children Angela Baginski, Corinne Angulo, and one granddaughter Kiera Angulo.
From Ecuador: son Basil Haylock, his wife Cecilia and children Christian Haylock, Natalie Szegedi, Rennie Haylock, Nicole Haylock and grandchild Sebastian Szegedi.
From B.C. and Louisiana: son Franklin Haylock, his wife Janet, and children Bobby Haylock, Erin Haylock, Jenna Haylock, Emily Haylock, and grandchildren Geniveve Haylock, Christopher Haylock, and Jaala Meier.
From B.C.: son Rennie Haylock, his wife Judy and children Brodie Haylock, Brieane Rietzel, Calais Haylock, Cailen Haylock and grandchildren Jordan Rietzel and Parker Rietzel. From B.C.: daughter Rosita Haylock.
Loving and generous to her family and friends, Maria Elena’s strength, gentleness, sophistication, integrity and intelligence, left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
