A prairie girl born in Edmonton, AB. Marian was the 4th of 5 children. She married Douglas, a young RAF pilot in 1944 and travelled as a war bride to Scotland the following year. In 1951 the family immigrated back to Canada and lived in several small prairie towns before settling on Vancouver Island in 1966. Marian was devoted to her family and was a respected member of her community. She worked as an elder at St. Columba Presbyteria Church for 12 years.
We mourn the sudden loss of this gentle, kind soul. Marian was wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to family who reside in Alberta, British Columbia an the United States.
