MANUEL, Marie Marguerite Blanche (nee Roberge)

Passed away suddenly at home on September 2. Born in Quebec City, April 3, 1916 and lived in Quebec, Alberta, England, Ontario, Calgary and Kelowna before retiring to Nanoose Bay in 1973. Predeceased by her husband, Percy in 1983. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (at home in Nanoose Bay), sister Clothilde (Tillie), nephews Ricky & Danny of Quebec City, and niece Louise Frankson of Port Coquitlam.

Marguerite’s interest in her garden and the Garden Club, her friendliness in the neighbourhood and her generosity of spirit, earned her many friends and much respect in the community.

A Memorial was held in Marguerite’s beloved garden in Nanoose Bay on September 6. Contributions may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of B.C. in her memory.
