GAY

Marion was born January 28, 1918 and passed away September 20, 2014.

She was born in Trampling Lake, Saskatchewan, and several years later her and her family moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario. In Niagara Falls, Marion and her family worked and spent their time at Grace Gospel Church, and this is where she met her late husband, Robert “Arnold” Gay.

Marion’s joy in life is her only son Robert George Gay, and her grandchildren Steven Robert Gay, and Brenda Marion Christianson, and her grandchildren, Hannah, Courtney, Devon, Kassidy, and Destiny.

Marion worked as a missionary and distributed the Gideon’s bible in her early years, and took much pride in her years working her way up to the loan officer at the bank of Montreal.

Marion lived in Alberta and took care of her mother (Lillian Smith, 1891-1988) for many years. At the age of 65, Marion retired and shortly after moved to Vancouver Island to live with her son. Marion Gay was a good Christian woman who will be missed by all those who knew her and treasured in the hearts of all those she left behind.

God Bless Marion. Rest in Peace.

It would be my wish that when you think of my Nana Marion, you remember the Good and Joy that she had brought to those who knew her. That she is in Heaven with her brothers, Lyle Smith and Gerald Smith, reunited in their love for one another. Catching up on their wonderful life’s pasage in their time. We can honour them in the same way. I loved her lots and will be missed and remembered by me and those that cared for those that knew her. Smile - you are thought of.
