SEAMAN (nee Ade) MARION RUTH
of Victoria, BC passed away at the age of 84 on November 6, 2012. Born in Ottawa on Jan 16 1928, Marion trained as a nurse at the Ottawa Civic Centre and later attained a BscN at UVIC. Marion worked through her career at Shaughnessy Hospital (Vancouver), St. Joseph’s (Victoria), Victoria General, and Eric Martin Institute. Marion is survived by her husband, Patrick Doyle Seaman with whom she enjoyed 59 years of marriage. She will be much missed by her children Ken (Hanna), Heather, Margot (Don) and Trevor (Miroslava) and beloved grandchildren Anton, Erika, Olivia, Laura and Rowan.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday November 17th 2012 at Sequoia Gardens Memorial, 4665 Falaise Drive in Victoria, with a reception to follow.
