PARSONS, Marjorie Elizabeth
Marjorie passed away at Nanaimo Regional Hospital on the morning of Feb. 25, 2007, after a short illness.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Len, her brother Roy and her sister Beryl. She is survived by her son Roland and his wife Beth, her grandchildren Kevin, Suzanne (and husband Cory), David, and Zachary, her great-grandson Mason, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was born in Victoria November 8, 1915, and she and Len married in 1936. They made their home in Victoria for many years. Marjorie worked for the Provincial Museum, where she employed her photographic skills as an archivist. Marjorie and Len moved to Qualicum Beach in 2003. Throughout her life, Marjorie was a cheerful, articulate and loving person who had many talents. She is sadly missed.
We would like to thank Dr. Heatcoat, Dr. Carr, Dr. Earp-Jones, and the staff at Nanaimo Hospital for the wonderful care Marjorie received. We’d also like to thank the staff of Hawthorne Place for their cheerful and considerate care of Marjorie during her stay there.
A Memorial Service was held on Monday, March 5th.
