Marjorie Isobel Baker
(nee Atkinson)
October 10, 1923 – April 5, 2015
Marjorie died peacefully at the age of 91 at her home in Parksville. She is survived by her daughters, Lorna, of Germany, Louella and Joyce of Quadra Island, brother Bill of Winnipeg, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Roy, in 2000.
Marjorie will be remembered for her warm smile and her cheerful and generous nature. She loved her family and her many friends with whom she shared her time and her baking. Marjorie loved to sing, square dance, knit, sew and share Happy Hour. She will be missed.
The family is very grateful for the constant and caring support received from Island Health Home Care Nurses, Home Support Workers and the local Hospice.
Marjorie declined a memorial service,
but asked that donations in her name
be made to the Salvation Army
