After a year of battling cancer, Marvin passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was in the Palliative Cure Unit in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for his last few days. Many thanks to Leah, Coral and Kelly for their loving care they gave him.
He is survived by two older sisters, Bunty Mercier and Doreen Monty.
Marv and, his wife, Coreen met in Ladysmith at the Bank of Commerce; Coreen was a teller and Marv was on the audit staff. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 56 years. He will also be missed by his two son’s Greg (Debbie) and Glenn (Gillian), and his grandchildren Nichola, Sharyse and Duncan.
