In retirement, Freda was active as a walker for many years at the Woodgrove Mall where she had a wonderful group of friends. She loved having her family over for visits and a good game of Scrabble. She and Jack enjoyed many trips to Winnipeg, and Arizona. She also traveled across Canada, Hawaii, Chile, Peru, and the Yukon.

In the last few years, her health deteriorated but she still managed to stay in her own home until she was 90 “doing it her way”. Eventually she moved to the Trillium Lodge in Parksville where she spent her last days in the care of the Trillium staff, nurses and doctors.

Freda was a sweet soul who will be sadly missed, loved

and forever remembered by her family and friends.

May God bless her and take her into his loving arms.
