Aug 6, 1952 - Mar 18, 2018
Beth Lindsay, of Qualicum Beach, BC, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at The Gardens in QB. She was born August 6, 1952, in Vancouver, BC, the daughter of William Lindsay and Marjorie (Perrault) Lindsay; the fourth of their five children.

Beth was predeceased by her parents and sister, Vicki Myers.

She is survived by her husband Brian Yates of Qualicum Beach; sister, Margot Moser (Gary); Greg Lindsay (Lorraine); and Ken Lindsay (Lise) as well as 14 dearly - loved nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews. Our large, extended family will miss her always.

After graduation in Burnaby, Beth worked as a legal secretary in the office of Harry Rankin in Vancouver, a job she thoroughly loved. When Harry retired, Beth went on to persue other interests such as operating a floral business and, later, becoming a marriage commissioner. Most recently she was the assistant librarian at Springwood School in Parksville.

It was through Beth's interest in antiques, especially Art Nouveau, that she met Brian at a furniture auction in Langley. After marrying in 1980, they decorated their home with an eclectic assortment of furniture and collectibles reflecting Beth's unique sense of style.

Beth and Brian travelled extensively in Europe, never more happy than to return to their home and garden - and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm on April 8, 2018 at the Nanoose Library Hall, 2489 Nanoose Road, Nanoose Bay, BC.
