Horpestad, Mary Helen. April 20,1934 - August 6, 2004 passed away suddenly with her family by her side on August 6, 2004 at Victoria General Hospital. She is survived by her brother Art of Stettler, Alberta, her husband of 53 years Ken, her children: Mark (Traci), Dale, Karen (Skip), Terry (Texie) and 9 grandchildren. Predeceased by her sons Ray and Ron. Mary will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those who knew her. Mary had a strength and warmth in her that will be remembered always. Memorial Services were held at 12:00 pm on August 14, 2004 at 1777 Minnie Road, Sooke, BC. A Celebration of Mary's life will follow.
