Maryln Diane Garrard (nee Shorter)
May 19, 1939 – November 22, 2009
Maryln is now at peace after passing away following a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Predeceased by her husband Bob in 2000, she is survived by her son Cory Garrard of Manitoba, 5 grandchildren, sister Janice (Wayne) Mallory, step mother Hazel Shorter, step-daughters Judy and Colleen and nephews Brent, Steven and Darrin. Maryln worked for many years as a secretary for MacMillan Bloedel in Port Alberni. Special ‘thanks’ to her friends Frank & Kathy Merx, Pat from Oceanside Hospice and all the wonderful staff at Stanford Place.
