PASCOE, Michael Leonard October 20, 1944 - January 19, 2003
Mike passed away at Eagle Park Care Facility after a six month battle with cancer. He left us gracefully and with dignity on Sunday evening. Mike was predeceased by his loving wife Audrey, with whom his ashes will be buried in Lumby, BC. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends, far too many to list. Mike spent the last few years of his life volunteering for the S.O.S., the Community Policing, the Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army and was a proud member of Parksville’s Alcoholics Anonymous fellowship. If one so wishes, donations may be made to any of these organizations in his memory.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held on Saturday, the 25th of January, 2003 at The Meeting Place, 259 East Island Highway, rear entrance beside Parksville Animal Hospital at 1:30 pm
Mike wanted to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital, 5th floor and the nurses and staff at the Eagle Park Care facility for the care and comfort they gave him through his last few weeks. His family also expresses their deepest thanks.
