Michael Norman McAra
January 13, 1951 – September 5, 2015
Michael peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at age 64. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Carroll; their fur kids, Angel & Maya; children, Peter, Linnea, Keri (Tim), Jay; grandson, Dale; father, Robert; brothers, Brian (Charlotte) and David (Debbie); sister, Tracie (Ray). Mike was predeceased by his mother, Pat and his maternal grandparents.
Thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at Nanaimo hospital for their loving care. No service will be held at Mike’s request. In lieu of flowers, please consider honouring Mike’s memory with a donation in his name to the Pacific Orca Society, PO Box 510, Alert Bay, BC V0N 1A0.
He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
