May 1, 1918 - July 11, 2018
A long life filled with love and caring was rewarded on July 11, 2018 with a peaceful transition to a well deserved rest.
Born and raised in Deloraine MB, Beryl lived in MB and AB, before finally settling in Victoria BC in 1966. Guided by her faith our mother, gramma, nanna gave selflessly of herself to family, friends and the less fortunate and her beautiful smile was sure to brighten even the darkest day. Mom loved all animals but there was always a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs.
Life's many challenges were met and conquered with a quiet determination and the early lessons of thrift and hard work were evident in every part of her life.
Mom loved music, dancing and entertaining and there was always a full house at any of her
frequent dinner or costume parties. Always active, walking was her passion and a perfect day had to include a walk along Victoria's Inner Harbor and the Odgen Point Breakwater. Our mother will be missed by all who knew her, but her next journey awaits and after a brief rest she will leave surrounded by family, friends, music, love and laughter and some very very happy dogs.
By request there will be no service and in lieu of flowers a donation to a local animal shelter would be appreciated.
