June 2, 1941 - February 20, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Murray Dan MacDonald. Murray was born on June 2, 1941 in Vancouver, BC and passed away peacefully in the early afternoon of February 20, 2022. He was a wonderful man who touched the hearts of many. He will be sadly missed.
Murray was predeceased by his parents Eileen and Jack, and his first wife Darleen. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Tracy (Dale), Kim (Kevin), Darcy, Eileen and Eliza; his wife Loreta; brother Garry; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and his niece and nephew.
Dad worked very hard over the years building a successful family business, of which he was very proud. He was a kind man who had a great sense of humour and a smile for everyone. He enjoyed boating, travelling, and spent many years fishing and hunting with his friends. He leaves a void in our hearts but will be lovingly remembered by us all.
We will be gathering for a memorial in the summer to share our memories of dad. A date will be posted at a future time.
