FISHER, Murray Earl
Born February 24, 1922 at Vulcan, AB and passed away on February 24, 2006 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 44 years, Rose; his son Bryan (Brenda) of Union Bay, BC; daughters Heather Kroetch of Waterloo, ON and Tara Rohbacher (Tom) of Shakespeare, ON and grandchildren Chad, Josh, Ashley, Lindsey, Andrew and Christine; brothers Ford, Glen and Keith and one sister Thelma in Alberta. Murray served overseas as a member of the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve from March 26, 1942 to December 4, 1945.
At Murray’s request, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
