HAMILTON, Murray Edward
1916 - 2005
Murray Edward Hamilton died peacefully at the Arrowsmith Lodge on Sunday, October 16, 2005 with family members and friends by his side. He was 89 years old.
Murray was a veteran of World War II. He settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba and worked for Imperial Oil. He and Helen retired to Qualicum Beach, BC in 1978. Murray was past president of two Legion Branches, Branch 215 in Winnipeg and Branch 76 in Qualicum Beach. He was past president of the Lions Club in Parksville, a member of East St. Paul, Manitoba council and long time member of Eaglecrest Golf Club, Qualicum Beach.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Helen; sons Dwight (Carol), Scott (Angie) and Greg; one grandchild and 2 great grandchildren and his sister Ruth.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 21, 2005 at 1:00 pm at the Eaglecrest Golf Club, 2035 Island Highway, Qualicum Beach
