VICKERS, Neil
On March 23, 2003, a group of family and friends are gathering at Parksville Beach in memory of Neil Vickers, who died peacefully on January 30, 2003 at the age of 47.
Together with family and friends, his parents, Gaston Goddu of Swift Current, Sask, and Clemence Vickers of Parksville, together with sister Michelle Butts of Qualicum Beach and brother Adrien Goddu of Nanaimo, and children Brent and Shelly Vickers of Morinville, Alberta, are scattering his ashes from his beloved beach and setting him free.
God saw the road became too rough
And the hills too hard to climb
So He gently closed his weary eyelids
And whispered, “Peace be Thine.”
