ANDERSON, Nellie Forbes
Born January 4, 1913 passed away on January 8, 2007 at Nanaimo at the age of 94 years.
She is predeceased by her husband Archie and is lovingly remembered by children: Anne (Bill) Nelson, Archie (Primrose) Anderson, John Anderson, Keith (Lynn) Anderson. Grandchildren: Bill (Wendy), Cathy (Shawn), Lance (Arlene), Christopher (Fredrique), Erin & Beth. Great-grandchildren: Codie, Tyrie, Olivia, and Jack. Siblings: Betty & Margaret, predeceased by Jimmy, John and Ann. As well as many nieces and nephews and friends. Mom came to Canada from Scotland as a young child grew up in Merritt married Archie, and eventually lived for many years in Mill Bay, where together Mom, Dad and John ran the Bayview store. She was the first postmaster in Mill Bay. A long time member of Sunset Chapter #44 OES in Duncan BC. She brought out the best in all she met. She lived in Qualicum Beach for the last five years, and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church on Saturday January 13th at 1:00 pm.
